Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc in Winona, MN seeks a Shipping & Receiving Clerk II (Contractor) to handle receipt and shipment of materials, maintain records, and operate the ERP system. The role includes forklift operation, label application, and ensuring accuracy of shipments.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in shipping/receiving, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work a M-F 0630-1500 schedule in a safety-sensitive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of shipping or receiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Unpack incoming items, check goods received against POs/invoices and maintain records; reject unsatisfactory items.
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped; post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for shipment.
• Count and pack products; check against packing lists for contents.
• May assemble boxes and cartons and prepare non-standard packs.
• Follow instructions for correct carton, wrapping and part arrangement; use of dunnage.
• Apply labels and secure package as directed.
• May assist in training entry-level employees.
• May operate forklift.
• Process inputs for receipts and shipments in ERP system.
• Maintain dock security.
• Ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction.
