Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. in Winona, MN is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate to handle inbound/outbound materials and maintain accurate records. You will unpack, verify against PO/invoice, and prepare goods for shipment, with attention to detail and safety sensitive duties.

You will also count and pack items, follow packaging instructions, operate forklift if needed, and process ERP transactions. This role requires 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving and a high school diploma.

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of shipping or receiving experience in materials/warehouse

Responsibilities

• Unpack incoming items, check goods received against purchase orders or invoices and maintain records
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped; Post weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment
• Count and pack various sized products in boxes, cartons or other containers; Check material against packing lists
• May assemble boxes and cartons and prepare non-standard packs
• Follow packaging instructions for correct carton, wrapping and arrangement of parts
• Apply label and secure package with closure
• May assist in training entry-level employees
• May operate forklift
• Process inputs for receipts and shipments in ERP system
• Maintain dock security
• All employees are responsible for quality of work and customer satisfaction
