Job summary

McCandless Truck Center - Reno is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate in Sparks, NV. You will help ensure smooth handling of shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and support warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment that values detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities include inspecting shipments, keeping records, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and collaborating with departments to fulfill orders accurately. High school diploma required; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse ops preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in basic computer use and inventory software.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and documentation.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly.
