Job summary

Trillium Staffing in Sparks, NV is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to handle inbound/outbound shipments in a fast-moving manufacturing setting with safety and quality as top priorities.

You will receive shipments, inspect contents, sign paperwork, verify against invoices, and maintain accurate records; this role requires 1 year shipping/receiving experience, a high school diploma or GED, and forklift/flatbed experience. Expect 40–50 hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience preferred.
• Prefer 1 year of flatbed experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to research information concerning OS&D’s.
• Possess basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
• Possess adequate clerical skills to update records and follow up with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
• Verify packages according to order and invoices.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
• Handle all aspects of the inbound process from receipts to directing the put-aways and checking contents to ensure they match the orders.
• Audit receipts and report any discrepancies.
• Communicate with Shipping & Receiving Lead on all upper-level shipping responsibilities.
• Completes local deliveries as assigned.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to work 40-50+ hour work weeks, dependent on production needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain 7S in the workspace.

Trillium Staffing is now seeking Shipping and Receiving Associates in Sparks, NV!

The Shipping & Receiving Associate receives, inspects, and records inbound shipments of material and products, and prepares, inspects, and loads outbound shipments. The Shipping & Receiving Associate works in a collaborative, supportive, and fast-moving manufacturing environment where safety and quality are of the highest priority.

Responsibilities:

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm. Pay rate is $22.00 an hour.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Ability to work in a shop environment with high noise levels and exposure to dust, heat, and cold.
• Prolonged periods performing repetitive tasks.
• Must have good manual dexterity in order to assemble parts as directed.
• Must have good hand and eye coordination.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes.
• Normal vision (with or without corrective lenses) and normal hearing (with or without corrective hearing aids).
• Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 40 to 50 pounds consecutively.
