Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient ePayments America, Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to coordinate duties at our Bolingbrook, IL location. You will conduct shipping/receiving, label and package products, and facilitate scheduling shipments following routing guidelines.

Primary responsibilities include loading/unloading, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and maintaining inventory accuracy. A High School diploma and 1 year of experience are required, with forklift experience highly

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Prior experience with forklift, issuing material, sheet destruction and vault issuance of materials.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and teamwork mentality.
• Understanding and willingness to follow safety and quality control procedures.
• Willingness to work at least 40 hours per week plus overtime as needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Strong planning, organizational and counting skills with flexibility and decision-making ability.
• Willingness to participate in background check and drug test.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (boxes).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping and receiving duties for the assigned location.
• Conduct shipping/receiving including picking, labeling, packaging and scheduling shipments according to routing guidelines.
• Load and unload trucks and other transportation vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, including product identification, packaging, carriers, routing and billing.
• Maintain inventory management and assist with physical inventory.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
