Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient ePayments America, Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to coordinate shipping and receiving for an assigned location. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, labeling, packaging, and scheduling shipments per routing guidelines.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in shipping/receiving within a manufacturing or distribution environment, plus strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work at least 40 hours per week plus occasional overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pound boxes.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Understanding and willingness to follow safety and quality control procedures.
• Willingness to take part in our background check and drug test process.
• Strong planning, organizational and counting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct shipping/receiving for shipping, including picking product, labeling, packaging product, and facilitating scheduling shipment using the routing guidelines
• Load and unload trucks, vans or other transportation vehicles with boxes or materials
• Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements, including product identification, packaging, carriers, routing and billing requirements
• Ensure the appropriate work environment organization, housekeeping and cleanliness
• Maintain inventory management and assist with physical inventory
• Perform related job duties as assigned
