Job summary

Wheeler Hardware Co. in Minnesota is hiring for a Warehouse Associate responsible for picking and packing orders, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling materials to ensure safe, on-time shipments.

You will assist with inventory control, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse while following safety procedures. Must be able to read a tape measure and operate pallet jacks and ladders.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.
• Write legibly (English).
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for up to 10 hours a day.
• Ability to use tape measure, pallet jack, and ladders.
• Must be on time and have excellent attendance.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders for shipment.
• Palletize, wrap, and label materials.
• Communicate with shipping to ensure on-time, accurate shipments.
• Assist with inventory control, including restocking shelves and updating inventory records.
• Participate in general warehouse activities, such as loading and unloading vehicles, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following safety procedures.
• Use of hand and power tools and ability to read a tape measure.
• Other duties as assigned.
