Job summary

McNICHOLS in Minnesota is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to handle warehouse functions including packing, shipping, and receiving materials. You will maintain inventory accuracy and operate forklifts safely as part of a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with inventory systems and RF scanners.
• Experience with UPS Worldship and FedEx shipping programs preferred.
• Able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Pack and ship customer orders.
• Accurately receive incoming material to maintain inventory integrity.
• Safely operate forklifts and other lift equipment; handle material and load/unload LTL carriers.
• Organize material pulls for orders to maintain efficient workflow.
• Process incoming material including inspecting/receiving POs, interbranch and vendor material, customer returns and damaged freight.
• Provide excellent customer service; answer phones and assist walk-up customers.
• Ensure timely shipment of orders and communicate issues.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and maintain packing supplies.
