Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Shipping Clerk in New Jersey to assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and contribute to on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include labeling shipments, printing daily receipts, tracking inventory, preparing invoices, and coordinating with the sales team to resolve shortages. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.
• Ensure shipments are labeled, billed correctly, and packaged safely.
• Print daily sales receipts and cross-checks with the computer system.
• Notify management of shortages to update the website and sales team.
• Prepare inventory for shipment and attach shipping labels.
• Assemble boxes and cartons with items to be shipped.
• Prepare detailed invoices to accompany shipments.
• Track inventory and report shortages to sales staff.
• Collaborate with other shipping clerks to process invoices.
