Job summary

Bodycote in Rutland, VT is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to pack customer parts, ensure paperwork, inspect and stage parts for production, and receive all other materials shipped to the site.

The role requires ITAR compliance (US Citizens or permanent residents), a high school diploma, and experience in a production environment; candidates should be organized and able to document data with basic MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment.
• Organized and accurate documentation skills with basic MS Office understanding.

Responsibilities

• Pack customer parts and ensure paperwork is in order to ship parts and unpack, inspect and stage for production.
• Use ERP system to generate documents and perform shipping/receiving functions.
• Review job folders, inspect and pack parts being shipped.
• Document all applicable data for parts being shipped per job folder.
• Prepare all appropriate documents to go with parts as per job folder.
• Receive deliveries and unpack product for production.
• Inspect incoming customer parts and verify product count.
• Initiate the job folder and hand off to production planning.
• Document all applicable data for parts being received per job folder.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely shipment and resolve issues.
• Assist supervisor in developing processes to improve operations.
• Observe Environment, Health and Safety policy requirements.
