Job summary

Bodycote, based in Laconia, NH, seeks a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to support heat treatment operations under the Production Manager. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and is safety-sensitive with a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

The position involves handling shipping duties, inventory care, and customer interactions. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic computer skills (MS Office), and the ability to obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents required for ITAR compliance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
• Some shipping experience preferred.
• Forklift certification obtainable.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shipping and receiving area as needed.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks and scheduling shipments.
• Communicate discrepancies with customers or supervisor.
• Inspect and record incoming/outgoing orders for count and damage.
• Promote safety and good housekeeping in the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
