Job summary

XLT Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to ensure accurate, timely, and safe movement of materials. You will receive, verify, and process shipments, maintain documentation, and coordinate with departments to support material flow and on-time delivery.

The role requires basic math, English communication, and familiarity with shipping software and ERP/inventory systems. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and experience with XLT products is a plus.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred; shipping/receiving experience valued.
Experience with shipping software, ERP/accounting, or inventory systems.
Knowledge of manufacturing operations and XLT products preferred; training available.

Responsibilities

Receive and unload incoming freight safely and efficiently.
Inspect incoming shipments for quantity, condition, and accuracy against packing slips and orders.
Process outbound shipments and prepare required shipping documents.
Label, stage, and deliver received materials to storage locations or points of use.
Coordinate with truck drivers and carriers for inbound/outbound traffic.
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and use company systems.
Follow 5S standards and safety requirements for a clean, organized workspace.
