Job summary

Randstad USA in Elgin, IL is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to oversee inbound and outbound material flows and verify load contents. You will manage carrier documentation, generate shipping records, and keep warehouse operations running smoothly in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires 1-3+ years of shipping/receiving experience, forklift operation, and familiarity with UPS WorldShip/FedEx Ship Manager. No degree is required and the schedule is Monday–Friday with 7:00 AM start.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of shipping and receiving experience in manufacturing or distribution.
• Valid forklift certification or proven hands-on forklift/pallet jack operation.
• Experience with shipping platforms (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager) or ERP/inventory software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk during shifts.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, punctual with 7:00 AM start.

Responsibilities

• Inbound & Outbound logistics: unload, inspect, verify loads, load shipments.
• Generate shipping documents, packing slips, labels, and log inventory movements.
• Coordinate with carriers and truck drivers for pickups and dock loading.
• Operate warehouse equipment to move and store materials.
• Perform daily spot-checks and assist with cycle counts.
