Job summary

Flex is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Handler in Dallas, Texas, to support inbound and outbound shipment activities. The role reports to the Materials Manager and runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, handling receiving, staging, and documentation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year in shipping/receiving, and strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving, logistics, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented skills.
• Solid organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiar with cycle counting, picking and posting, and working with an MRP/ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the quality and count of all items unloaded from trucks and trailers; reports discrepancies as per policy.
• Notifies supervisor of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
• Stage received material and product in appropriate location.
• Create shipping and receiving receipts within system.
• Prepares products and bills of lading for shipments; stages product for carrier pickup.
• Load and unload deliveries using forklifts, dollies, or hand trucks safely.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.
