The role requires 1–2 years of shipping/receiving experience, with training available for forklift, overhead crane, and related equipment; familiarity with measurement devices and SDS/HazCom regulations is essential.

Formación

• 1–2 years of hands-on shipping and receiving experience.
• Forklift experience a plus, will train.
• Overhead crane experience a plus, will train.
• Experience with measurement devices a must.
• Crating or carpentry experience a plus, will train.
• UPS Worldship experience a plus.
• Export paperwork experience a plus.
• Understanding SDS/Hazcom shipping regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
• Determines the method of shipment and affixes shipping labels on cartons.
• Assembles containers and inserts items into containers.
• Seals and marks crates; posts weights and shipping charges; stamps shipping information.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Operates lifting equipment to move shipments.
• Reviews shipping notices and orders to meet schedules.
• Inspects shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Delivers incoming goods to respective departments.
