Job summary

Penske Marion FDC 4847 is seeking a Big Board Operator/Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join a safety-conscious team in a warehouse environment. You will support the full team, interact with Supervisors and Team Leads to meet customer service and productivity expectations, and help keep operations moving forward.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year shipping/receiving experience, and familiarity with WMS or Smartsheet is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of shipping/receiving experience required.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.
• Smartsheet experience preferred.
• Strong computer and mathematical skills required.
• Frequent interaction with warehouse workers with daily tasks.
• Regular attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Processing inbound and outbound shipments in the warehouse.
• Control the flow of work to meet departure and receiving times.
• Resolve discrepancies with inventory as well as inbound/outbound shipments.
• Interact with warehouse associates and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with daily and weekly reports.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and Management to meet warehouse metrics.
• Prioritize workload and adapt to position requirements.
• Other projects and tasks assigned by Supervisor.
