Industrial is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist in Richmond, VA to support the Shipping & Receiving Department, handling orders, packing, and material movement with RF scanning and forklift operations. A safety-focused, detail-driven approach is essential to keep inventory accurate and shipments on time.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in warehouse material handling, ability to operate Order Picker, Reach Truck, Sit-Down Forklift, basic math and data

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience in warehouse material handling.
• Ability to operate Order Picker, Reach Truck, and Sit-Down Forklift.
• Basic math skills and computer data entry skills, including use of RF scanner gun and/or desktop computer systems.
• Physical capability to lift, push, or pull 35 pounds alone (and greater than 35 pounds with assistance), plus ability to stand and move for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Pick/pull customer sales orders, manufacturing work orders, and engineering work orders from multiple locations within the plant.
• Record material/component usage accurately by keying transactions into RF Smart using an RF gun or desktop computer.
• Pack orders for small package or LTL shipment while following all packing procedures and distribution packaging requirements.
• Receive, identify, record, label, and place materials into stock; follow up on purchase order and RMA (returned goods) paperwork.
• Operate sit-down, reach truck, and order picker forklifts to support material movement, put-away, and order fulfillment.

Our client, Industrial is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will be part of the Shipping & Receiving Department supporting the manufacturing and order fulfillment teams. The ideal candidate will have strong safety awareness, a detail-focused mindset, and the drive to take initiative which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Pay Range: $21

Shift: 7:30AM to 4:00PM (Mon–Fri)

What's the Job?
