Job summary

Openwork is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a Denton, TX facility. This role focuses on shipping/receiving with forklift use, standard duties handling materials, paperwork, and customer interactions. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with occasional overtime and potential for temp-to-hire.

We value 2+ years in shipping/receiving, forklift experience, and strong data-entry skills. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and reliable attendance is essential.

Qualifications

2+ years of shipping and receiving, warehouse logistics, or related experience.
Sit-down forklift experience required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Basic computer, email, and data-entry skills.
Experience with shipping paperwork and order documentation.

Responsibilities

Handle daily shipping and receiving.
Receive and process incoming and outgoing materials.
Check orders, quantities, and shipping paperwork for accuracy.
Enter and update information in computer systems.
Communicate with customers, drivers, and warehouse staff.
Provide professional customer service.
Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Load and unload trucks.
Operate a sit-down forklift as needed.
Stage and organize materials.
Report damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
