Job summary

IDEAL TRIDON in Smyrna, TN, seeks a Receiving Clerk for 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) to prepare shipping documentation, manage bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and export licenses, using ERP systems to track transactions. You will ensure regulatory compliance for hazardous materials and resolve shipment non-conformities, while communicating with carriers and customers.

The role requires a high school diploma; Hi-Lo certification is preferred and can be trained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Hi-Lo Certification preferred, will be trained and certified on the hi-lo.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
• Record and track all shipping transactions utilizing a scan gun.
• Able to safely operate a forklift and heavy equipment in tight places.
• Follow bill of lading, packing slips and invoices.
• Utilize a computer to be able to properly set up, track and prepare shipments.
• Able to work closely with team lead and supervisor on planning the workload for the entire shift.
• Follow safety protocol.
• Read and comprehend schedule and BOM.
• Inspect manufactured goods for defects, quality, proper material and correct size and specifications.
• Housekeeping while in between quality checks.
• Production reporting.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
