Job summary

Ideal Tridon is seeking a Receiving Clerk on 1st shift in Smyrna, TN. This role supports shipping operations in a manufacturing setting, handling bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and export documents.

You will use ERP systems, communicate with carriers, and ensure regulatory compliance for hazardous materials where required. The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Hi-Lo certification preferred; training provided.
• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Record and track shipping transactions with a scan gun.
• Safely operate forklift and heavy equipment in tight spaces.
• Follow bill of lading, packing slips and invoices.
• Use ERP to set up and track shipments.
• Assist planning with workload for the shift.
• Follow safety protocol.
• Read schedule and BOM.
• Inspect goods for defects and correct specs.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform quality checks.
• Provide production reporting.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
