Job summary

Stratas Foods, headquartered in Cordova, TN, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for the 1st shift to support logistics operations. This full-time role coordinates shipments, manages shipping documentation, and maintains records in ERP/WMS systems, working closely with carriers, drivers, and warehouse teams to ensure timely and compliant processing.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
1–3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse coordination, or administrative support within a distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred.
Experience with shipment documentation, carrier coordination, or inventory systems is a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and truck appointments.
Prepare and review shipping documentation (Bills of Lading, COAs) and verify order accuracy.
Use ERP/WMS systems to process shipping transactions and maintain records.
Generate shipping reports and communicate status to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with carriers, drivers, customer service, and warehouse teams to resolve issues.
