Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage the flow of materials, receive shipments, and maintain inventory records to support safe and efficient operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year shipping/receiving experience, English communication, and basic computer skills. 1st shift, 8:30am–4:30pm, with potential overtime based on needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and understanding work instructions.
• 1+ year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, logistics, or material handling experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions, shipping documents, and safety procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn inventory, receiving, and data-entry systems.
• Experience using barcode scanners and electronic tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count, verify, and document materials.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and operate material handling equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and documents.
• Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to requirements.
• Record received and shipped materials in inventory systems.
• Route materials to appropriate departments and work areas.
• Identify and report shipment discrepancies or damaged materials.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records according to procedures.
• Monitor and replenish shipping supplies and packaging materials.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely as needed.
