Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to help move materials and products through the facility, ensuring shipments are accurate and on time. You will receive inbound goods, verify documents, pack and label items, and prepare orders for pickup.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, fluent English, and basic computer and data-entry skills. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, with forklift experience a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse roles preferred.
• Ability to use computers and basic data entry/inventory systems.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against documents.
• Unpack materials and note shortages or damages.
• Prepare items for shipment with packaging, labeling, and staging.
• Coordinate shipments with carriers and transport providers.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks.
• Route materials to departments and production areas.
• Maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Ensure outgoing shipments meet quality and customer requirements.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies.
• Follow safety and quality procedures and keep area clean.
