Responsibilities

• Receive incoming parts and materials and ensure accurate recording and storage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Pick, consolidate, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Process domestic and international shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare shipping documentation (airway bills, SED, SLIs).
• Process shipments using shipping systems and software (UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, DHL Easy Ship).
• File required information through the ACE system.
• Package and ship raw materials and finished goods.
• Use ERP systems and database entry tools to maintain shipment and inventory data.
• Prioritize daily workload and adapt to changes.

Job Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and material handling in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures incoming parts are received, accurately recorded, and stored in the correct locations, while customer orders are picked, consolidated, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time. The position supports both domestic and international shipments and requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive incoming parts and materials and ensure they are accurately recorded and stored in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Pick, consolidate, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Process domestic and international shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including airway bills, Shippers Export Declarations (S.E.D.), and Shippers Letters of Instruction (S.L.I.).
• Process shipments using shipping systems and software such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and DHL Easy Ship.
• File required information through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) system.
• Package and ship raw materials and finished goods using appropriate packaging techniques.
• Use ERP systems and database entry tools to maintain accurate shipment and inventory information.
• Prioritize daily workload and adjust to changing shipping and receiving requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and shipping partners.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support additional responsibilities as assigned.
