Job summary

Equiliem is seeking a Packing & Shipping Operator in Elkridge, MD to support manufacturing and shipping by safely packaging, documenting, and processing materials for domestic and international shipments.

The role involves building packaging with hand and power tools, preparing paperwork, and collaborating with shipping, production, and warehouse teams; on-site work with 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, packaging, crating, material handling, manufacturing, construction, or a similar hands-on environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using common hand tools such as drills, wrenches, box cutters, and hammers.
• Ability to measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. independently and participate in team lifts of heavier materials.
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability and willingness to obtain required forklift, crane, power-tool, DOT/IATA HAZMAT, and safety certifications.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Elkridge, MD.

Job Summary

The Packing & Shipping Operator supports manufacturing and shipping operations by safely packaging, preparing, documenting, and processing materials for domestic and international shipment. This hands-on role involves building and customizing packaging, using hand and power tools, preparing shipping documentation, and handling materials in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, packaging, manufacturing, construction, material handling, or another hands-on environment.

• Experience working with commercial, government, or international shipments.
