Job summary

Boar's Head Brand is seeking a Distribution Center associate to ensure accurate receipt and shipment of products in line with SOPs. You will collaborate across departments, schedule workloads, and maintain paperwork and records.

The role requires basic MS Office skills and a preference for candidates with two years of college and distribution experience. The position emphasizes teamwork, proactive communication, and strict adherence to GMPs and HACCP guidelines within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Two years of college preferred.
• Three years related experience in a distribution environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Planning, Transportation and vendors to align daily workloads.
• Maintain professional communication with all departments at all times.
• Schedule and manage shift work, planning daily workloads with management.
• Assemble and process all daily paperwork.
• Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing paperwork and communicate discrepancies.
• Distribute documentation to the appropriate departments and personnel.
• Maintain filing and records in an organized system.
• Escalate workload or paperwork concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with training and cross-training teammates.
• Follow SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP and other plant rules.
• Identify and communicate equipment issues to supervision.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
