Job summary

Boar's Head Brand is seeking a dedicated team member for a full-time shift-focused role in our Virginia facility. You will follow strict food safety and quality controls, coordinate with Planning and Transportation, and maintain daily work schedules and related paperwork.

The position emphasizes teamwork and adherence to SSOPs, GMPs and HACCP within a cold, damp environment. Candidates must meet physical requirements, be 18+, and work with minimal supervision as needed to ensure production needs

Qualifications

• Basic oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel or crouch for extended periods.
• Able to lift and move 50–75 pounds with assistance if required.
• Available to work Monday to Friday with weekend work as production needs dictate.
• Work environment is cold and damp.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to proper methods to sustain Food Safety and Quality expectations.
• Collaborate across departments to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain shift schedules and plan daily workloads with management.
• Complete and verify all daily paperwork and distribute to the appropriate departments.
• Follow SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP and other plant rules.
• Operate and identify issues with DC equipment and communicate to supervisor.
