Job summary

Boar’s Head Brand in Petersburg, Virginia is seeking a warehouse associate to ensure orders are processed to customer service standards. You will work with the team in a fast-paced distribution setting, following GMPs and SOPs while reporting to a lead or supervisor.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasional heavier lifts, and familiarity with forklift operations. Work includes shipping/receiving and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100+ lbs occasionally.
• Exposed to cold environments and wet/humid conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor/Lead.
• Keep pace with the work area and the team.
• Communicate well with team members to ensure product specifications are met.
• Maintain positive working relationships with associates and management.
• Handle shipping/receiving in the dock area.
• Operate a forklift.
• Assist other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, rules and policies.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Strive to satisfy internal and external customers.
• Keep the work area clean.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor/Lead.
• Must keep pace with work area and team.
• Must work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members.
• Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with all associates, coworkers and upper management.
