Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Nesconset, NY to manage inbound and outbound shipments with precision. You will log inventory, verify documents, and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery.

The role is on-site, standard daytime hours, with a focus on accuracy, data entry, and ERP system usage including SAP. Benefits include weekly pay and a range of health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving processes.
• Proficiency in logging and tracking items in a computer database.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy when entering shipping and receiving information.
• Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking and order picking.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory software, including SAP.
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming trucks and move boxes safely.
• Inspect incoming packages for damage and report issues.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Log received inventory into the system with accurate data entry.
• Organize inbound goods for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Prepare outbound orders and ship using appropriate boxes and labels.
• Create and print shipping documents for outbound shipments.
• Schedule pickups and coordinate with freight carriers.
