Job summary

Boar's Head Brand is seeking a Distribution Center Support role responsible for ensuring accuracy of received and shipped products in accordance with SOPs. The position involves coordinating with Planning, Transportation and vendors, managing daily paperwork, and maintaining compliance with SSOPs and HACCP.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preference for college coursework and distribution experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Two years of college preferred.
• Three years of related experience in a distribution environment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Planning, Transportation and outside vendors.
• Maintain professional communication and interactions at all times.
• Schedule and maintain shift work schedules in consultation with management.
• Assemble all paperwork needed for the work day.
• Handle incoming paperwork and documentation.
• Verify paperwork for accuracy and discrepancies.
• Distribute related paperwork to appropriate departments.
• Filing and recordkeeping responsibilities.
• Communicate workload and paperwork concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with training and cross-training teammates.
• Follow SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP and other plant rules.
• Operate and identify issues with distribution center equipment and report to supervisor.
