OSI is seeking an entry-level Logistics/Receiving Clerk in Chicago to process documents for shipments and inbound materials. You will prepare bills of lading, shipping orders, and data entries, ensuring accuracy and timely responses to inquiries.

You will handle outbound labeling, receiving verification, and clerical tasks in a professional office environment, with emphasis on safety and GMP compliance. No travel required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 0-1 years of experience in related field preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and understand shipping and receiving documents.
• Data entry into established computer programs and basic word processing/spreadsheet creation.
• Ability to communicate courteously, clearly, and effectively with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and truck drivers.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials and record shipment data into the computer system.
• Prepare outbound product with appropriate seals and labels and stage for pick up using equipment including scales, postage meters, hand tools, power tools, and hand trucks.
• Receive inbound deliveries by reviewing contents, order records, manifests, and invoices to verify accuracy of incoming shipments and record receipts in the computer system.
• Respond to customer inquiries courteously, accurately, and timely. Investigate issues including shipping, inventory, and costs; refer complex issues to the next higher level.
• Perform a variety of routine clerical tasks including filing, sorting, printing, copying, and faxing.
• Comply with all organization rules including work rules, employment policies, safety procedures, and GMPs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Understand and practice safety procedures through education, training, PPE, and following policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
