We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to perform daily delivery, order fulfillment, packaging, receiving, and shipment duties of component boxes and materials. The role involves scheduling of orders, ensuring accuracy of packaging, and scanning barcodes within the SAP system. The candidate will collaborate with other employees and departments to resolve shipping and receiving issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging within the shipping system, including daily component packaging and customer order filing.
• Schedule orders and verify the accuracy of packaged products, including double boxing and palletizing.
• Complete inbound receiving of products and packages, notifying recipients accordingly.
• Scan barcodes of shipping modules into the SAP system for record keeping.
• Coordinate with employees and departments to resolve shipping and packaging issues.
• Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Keep the warehouse clean and perform facilities maintenance as needed.
• Operate forklift for shipping/receiving duties.
• Sort and store materials on racks, shelves, or bins.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for compliance with requirements.
• Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and communicate with shippers to resolve damages.
• Pack and ship orders efficiently to internal and external customers.
• Prepare and print shipping labels as needed.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of warehouse experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in material handling, shipping and receiving, distribution, or operations.
• Understanding of basic warehouse procedures.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Adaptability to changing workloads and priorities.
• Teamwork and motivation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills, preferably Google Suite.
• Forklift license is a plus (recertification required annually).
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
• Basic math skills for calculations and measurements.

Work environment involves exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The temperature may not always be regulated.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
