Job summary

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC in Wisconsin's Appleton distribution center is seeking a collaborative team player to handle shipping and receiving for Miller and Hobart products. This role is subject to overtime hours as needed.

The ideal candidate will load/unload trucks, receive POs, process returns with customer service, perform cycle counts, cross-train across inbound/outbound operations, create bills of lading, and communicate with carriers. A team-oriented, detail-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Legible writing and clear oral communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dexterity to sit on lift truck up to 10 hours daily.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Experience operating equipment in a narrow aisle.
• Understanding of a clean work environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trucks
• Receive purchase orders into the system
• Process returns and resolve customer exceptions with our customer service team
• Cycle counting
• Cross train with Central receiving and intra-inbound/outbound of the distribution center, including creating Bills of Lading, emailing and answering phone/voicemail
• Communicate with external carriers and internal business units
• Monitor inbound inventory levels to facilitate outbound weight allowances
