Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate in Phoenix, AZ to handle the shipment and receipt of materials, with about one year of related experience preferred.

The role requires familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, ability to operate powered equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Forklift certification is preferred. This position offers standard pay of $19.00 per hour and opportunities for growth within our warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of related shipping and receiving experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and ability to handle routine exceptions.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to safely operate powered equipment (forklifts, hydraulic lifts).
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Driver's license and good driving record may be required.
• Ability to work independently under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
• Verify received goods against shipping records and inspect items for condition.
• Pack items for shipment according to specifications.
• Record received and shipped materials using established procedures.
• Route materials to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete required documentation.
• Operate powered material-handling equipment as required.
• Follow shipping, receiving, safety, and material-handling procedures.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
