Job summary

Brakebush Chicken in Mocksville, NC is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Manager for the 1st shift to lead the team, ensure accurate receiving, storage, and shipping, and coordinate with plant operations to meet production goals.

The role requires 5+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse/shipping, strong knowledge of SAP, PIT certification, and solid communication skills. Reports to the Plant Manager; on-site role with occasional travel for trainings.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of supervisory/management experience in warehouse management, shipping and receiving.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and safe manufacturing operations.
• Ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills, to include professional oral and written communication, a team-focused approach, and the ability to model composure/make decisions in stressful situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Shipping/Receiving team through supervision, training and performance management aligned with Brakebush values.
• Collaborate across shifts, departments and external vendors to standardize shipping, storage and SAP practices.
• Maintain department inventory, initiate SAP transactions and support audits and safety documentation.
• Act as primary trainer for PIT and other equipment; develop Leads and junior staff on SAP processes.
