Americold Logistics, LLC in Belvidere, IL is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage records of incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinate acceptance, delivery, and storage, and resolve issues with damages, shortages, and nonconformances. You will work with carriers and customers, prepare shipping documents, maintain data accuracy, and support warehouse operations.

A HS diploma or GED plus 1 year in shipping/receiving and experience with WMS and Microsoft Office are required.

Formación

HS diploma or GED required or 1 year shipping/receiving experience.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic and handle documentation accurately.

Responsabilidades

Coordinate with carriers and customers to resolve damages, shortages, and nonconformances.
Arrange shipping and delivery of materials; select methods based on routes and rates.
Examine shipment contents; verify accuracy against manifests, invoices, and orders.
Prepare and maintain shipping documents (work orders, bills of lading, shipping orders).
Record shipment data (weight, charges, space availability, discrepancies) for accounting/records.
Maintain clear communication with customers and document all interactions to resolve issues.
Assist in answering phones and supporting warehouse operations as needed.
Undertake other duties as assigned.
