Odyssey Logistics is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in Vandalia, IL. The role focuses on daily inbound/outbound shipments for the LTL department, coordinating bookings, inventory checks, and documentation to ensure accurate, timely shipments. Strong communication and organization are essential for success.

The position is onsite with a 40-hour workweek, occasional overtime, and reports to the Manager, Operations. Base pay ranges $17.00–$18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous shipping/receiving/logistics experience is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to type ~50 wpm and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments for the LTL department.
• Enter orders, coordinate bookings, and monitor inventory levels.
• Verify pickups/deliveries and update shipment statuses in systems.
• Prepare documentation and maintain appointment logs for shipments.
• Provide timely customer, carrier, and internal communications.
