Job summary

Odyssey Logistics in Vandalia, IL is seeking a Receiving Specialist II to verify and maintain records for incoming shipments and to support the receiving operation.

You will process materials, document shipments, and help ensure products are properly received, labeled, and routed, with responsibilities spanning data entry in SAP, WhiBoard, and P21, plus quality checks.

This onsite role is 40 hours weekly with overtime as scheduled and comes with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• GMP knowledge preferred.
• Food Safety/HACCP knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of barcode scanning preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, time management and organizational skills.
• Punctuality, reliability, accountability and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain records on incoming shipments.
• Receive materials and enter information into SAP, WhiBoard, and the P21 system.
• Record shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies.
• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders to route material.
• Assist with other areas in the department and support a safe, productive environment.
