Job summary

Winholt Equipment Group in Allentown, PA, seeks a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor/Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory, and shipment of materials. This hands-on leadership role ensures accuracy and efficiency across the shipping, receiving, and inventory processes.

Lead and train staff, coordinate dock activities, utilize ERP systems (Epicor), operate forklifts, and maintain a safe, organized workplace aligned with company policies and shipping

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or material handling.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience required.
• ERP experience required; Epicor preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse software systems.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and train shipping and receiving personnel.
• Assign daily work schedules, balance workloads, and monitor team performance.
• Receive, inspect, and verify inbound materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Process ERP transactions including receipts, transfers, inventory adjustments, and material movements.
• Coordinate material put-away activities and maintain organized warehouse storage locations.
• Support cycle counts and inventory audits, investigate discrepancies, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Support warehouse organization, storage utilization, and material flow efficiency.
• Oversee daily shipping activities to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective deliveries.
• Coordinate dock utilization, warehouse activities, and labor resources.
• Partner with Production department to ensure efficient workflow.
• Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and shipping regulations.

Position Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor/Lead will oversee and participate in daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring accurate receipt, storage, inventory control, and shipment of materials.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
