Job summary

Mackay Marine is seeking a Shipping/Receiving and Delivery Clerk at our Seattle location. The role includes driving a company vehicle for pickups and deliveries, loading/unloading goods, and ensuring accurate documentation for domestic and international shipments.

Qualifications

• The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and forklift certification is preferred.
• 3+ years of shipping/receiving experience and 1+ year delivery experience are required.
• Knowledge of commercial invoices for overseas shipments is essential.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel; familiarity with UPS, FEDEX, and DHL systems.
• Experience packaging shipments and interpreting packaging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow Mackay's policies and procedures at all times.
• Use the company van for local deliveries or pickups as needed.
• Maintain fleet vehicles and safely load/unload shipments.
• Prepare shipments, packing, and necessary paperwork for domestic and international shipments.
• Audit shipments, update logs, and verify order accuracy.
• Track freight costs and apply to customer invoices.
• Manage service kits inventory and restock parts as needed.
• Request RMAs from vendors and assist with cycle counts.
• Keep warehouse clean and perform depot maintenance as required.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
