Chase Doors in Woodbury, Minnesota is seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk to manage the movement of goods in a multi-shift operation. This entry level role offers $20-23/hour, Monday–Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with focus on accuracy of shipping records and timely processing of shipments.

You will coordinate forklift-driven activities, ensure safety, and maintain efficient material flow to support production.

Qualifications

1+ years’ experience in warehousing, shipping and receiving, dock operations.
Experience managing forklift drivers and maintaining safety records.
Strong team-building and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with accuracy in material handling.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate activities of workers in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing items for shipment.
Assist with incoming and outgoing shipping to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
Determine space requirements and layout for shipments in boxcars and trucks.
Inspect loading operations for compliance with shipping specs and seal doors.
Direct movement of shipments from platform to storage and work areas.
Post weight and shipping charges.
Prepare bills of lading.
May assist workers in shipping and receiving activities.
