Job summary

CenterPoint in Woodbury, MN is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to verify orders, manage inbound/outbound shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records. You will coordinate with carriers, prepare packing lists, and support the warehouse team with forklift duties, ensuring on-time deliveries while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in logistics, strong attention to detail, and good communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in Logistics or related field.
• Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
• Proficient with computers, scanners and internal software/systems.

Responsibilities

• Make all transportation arrangements for outbound and inbound shipments, air shipments, arrange logistics for forwarding and split shipments, and track deliveries of all orders.
• Arrange and monitor shipments through parcel and freight carriers (FedEx, UPS, and AFU) as well as local providers, ensuring timely delivery.
• Retrieve and verify PO numbers and receiving information for all shipments and booth properties.
• Receive inbound shipments from all carriers, log deliveries, inspect for damages, and ensure all packing lists and BOLs are complete.
• Verify received goods for accuracy and condition, compare counts against PO details and report discrepancies.
• Distribute incoming shipments to the appropriate teams in a timely manner.
• Prepare, document, and dispatch outbound shipments in accordance with scheduled timelines.
• Ensure all scheduled shipments are dispatched according to plan.
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate logistics and transportation needs for shipments.
• Maintain communication with internal teams regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments and resolve delays or issues with carriers and teams.
• Communicate with drivers and carriers regarding delivery schedules and pickups.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems as items move.
• Track and secure giveaway items and report inventory discrepancies.
• Safely operate a forklift to load/unload semi-trailers for Warehouse team.
