BICO Steel in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to oversee all shipping and receiving tasks, coordinate schedules, and ensure accurate documentation. This role supports production through efficient material handling and timely communication with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading freight, operating lift equipment, and maintaining safety procedures while contributing to reports and special projects as needed.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years shipping/receiving experience.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate incoming/outgoing shipments with Production Manager.
• Safely deliver products to customers, including driving vehicles.
• Process internal shipping documents and work packets.
• Handle inbound shipping/receiving documents.
• Load/unload inbound and outbound freight.
• Follow Safety Procedures and use chocks, straps, and safety chains.
• Communicate shipping changes promptly to stakeholders.
• Assist with testing new products and ordering supplies.
• Perform basic lift truck maintenance and uphold 5S standards.
