Job summary

INDRA AIR TRAFFIC INC is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Overland Park, KS to manage inbound and outbound material handling and related documentation within our logistics operations.

You will verify quantities, process shipments, and perform ERP/WMS transactions to support accurate inventory and uninterrupted operations. A high school diploma and 2+ years in shipping or warehouse roles are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of shipping/receiving or logistics support experience.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Experience with ERP or WMS systems (SAP preferred).
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and walking.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound materials and verify quantities, part numbers, and documentation against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Process outbound shipments by preparing shipping paperwork, labels, and documentation according to internal and customer requirements.
• Perform system transactions for receipts, shipments, and internal transfers using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Coordinate material movements between receiving, warehouse, and internal customers.
• Inspect materials for visible damage and report discrepancies or issues.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of shipping and receiving documentation.
• Support inventory accuracy through proper transaction execution and participation in cycle counts.
• Communicate shipment and receipt status to warehouse, logistics, and supply chain teams.
• Ensure compliance with internal logistics procedures, safety rules, and housekeeping standards.
• Support audits and internal controls related to shipping and receiving activities.
• Identify and raise issues related to documentation, shortages, or delivery discrepancies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within internal logistics operations.
