Job summary
Cst Industries, Inc. in Parsons, KS seeks a Shipping and Receiving Manager to lead two direct reports and optimize inbound and outbound logistics.
You will coordinate shipments, manage loading, and maintain carrier communication while using an ERP system to track KPIs and support multiple departments.
Main requirements include BOL creation, international shipping experience, ERP proficiency, and strong leadership and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years experience creating BOLs and international shipping docs
- 5–7 years leadership in Shipping & Receiving or Logistics (manufacturing)','5–7 years ERP experience
- 2–4 years KPI analytics
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PP)
- Highly organized and self-motivated
Responsibilities
- Communicate daily with carriers for rates and scheduling pickups/deliveries
- Create BOLs, packing lists, and commercial invoices for shipments—Domestic and International
- Provide shipping quotes to team when requested
- Track KPIs for site and report monthly to Director of Logistics and Transportation
- Manage the loading process for outbound shipments
- Report daily on all orders shipped and received and updated in ERP
- Review weekly carrier invoices against pricing agreements
- Act as escalation point with local carriers as needed
- Coordinate with production, sales, procurement and project managers to ensure orders ship on time
