Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating with carriers, receiving and storing materials, staging loads, and data entry, with mentoring duties for other shipping/receiving staff.

Qualifications

• 2–5 yrs of prior shipping/receiving experience.
• Knowledge of inventory control and related processes.
• Familiarity with shipping paperwork and data entry systems.
• Experience with PC/Windows operating systems (Oracle training possible).

Responsibilities

• Communicates with carriers and schedules inbound/outbound loads.
• Receives, unloads, and stores material into inventory.
• Stages loads and coordinates truck loading to meet delivery dates.
• Maintains production component issue logs and related records.
• Trains and mentors other shipping/receiving staff.
