Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate on the second shift in Augusta, GA. You will operate scanning devices, identify items with receiving documents, and coordinate with procurement to resolve discrepancies.

Two+ years warehousing experience preferred; SAP experience is a plus. High school diploma or GED is required. This role focuses on accuracy, safety, and timely material movement across locations.

Qualifications

• Maintain open communication with inventory control and manufacturing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks as required.
• Troubleshoot SAP-related errors in receiving and allocation.
• Meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
• Monitor hot material movement between campuses and ensure all transactions are completed.
• Allocate inbound materials to proper locations (warehouse, assembly line, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand held scanning device, computer, or tablet.
• Identify all items with appropriate receiving documents and labels.
• Notify procurement or shipper of any discrepancies on packing lists.
• Maintain open communication with inventory control and manufacturing personnel.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks as required.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve any errors and exceptions in the system (SAP) that revolve around receivingand allocation.
• Perform to an established methods and standards; meeting or exceeding the departments safety, quality andproductivity goals.
• Monitor all “hot” material movement between campuses and ensure all transactions are completed.
• Allocate inbound materials to their proper location including the warehouse, assembly line, and additional locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or ACT WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) at the Bronze level or higher.

Years of Experience

2 or more years of experience required, warehousing experience preferred

Software Knowledge

SAP experience preferred
