Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate in Augusta, GA. This full-time role on First Shift involves hands-on work in evaluating carts, disassembling/assembling engines, and identifying improvements to cut costs and boost quality.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with 2 years of related experience; ASE certification is a plus and blueprint reading is preferred. No remote work; onsite work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 year technical or industry related degree preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus and reading blueprints is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify root cause of non-conformance and communicate findings to the production line.
• Participate in quality and efficiency improvement activities.
• Complete all assignments according to development schedules, cost objectives and management directions.
• Assure confidentiality and security of sensitive designs, costing, test data, prototype models, and product plans.
• Identify new products and features that improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, and keep the production line at the forefront of the industry.
• Disassemble and assemble engines without damaging or losing components.
• Ride and evaluate carts to assess performance.
