Job summary

KAD Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Associate to handle receiving, packing, and shipping for Standard Tool catalog items. You will verify incoming inventory, perform stock checks, cycle counts, and transfer material to appropriate departments using SAP and related systems.

Responsibilities include unpacking and labeling, weighing and boxing packages for carriers, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. A minimum of one year in warehousing is required, with strong math and data entry skills.

Qualifications

• One year general packaging/warehousing or material handling experience.
• Two years warehousing in a manufacturing environment with inventory control experience (preferred).
• Strong math skills to verify quantities and calculate pack counts.
• Basic computer skills to enter inventory data and generate labels.
• Ability to read instructions and interpret customer directives.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, verify, and receive purchased items from vendors and customer returns.
• Receive all other vendor purchase orders and perform inventory controls.
• Conduct stock checks, cycle counts, and transfer material to appropriate departments.
• Pull, pack, and ship customer orders for catalog items.
• Package and label specials, verify quantities, and transfer to packing line.
• Unpack weekly stock transport shipments and store items correctly.
• Verify counts and place incoming items in proper storage locations.
• Operate UPS shipping computer and scale to weigh and label sealed packages.
• Place outgoing packages into proper shipping containers for carrier pickup.
• Daily cleaning of work area to maintain a safe, orderly environment.

• Basic computer skills with ability to enter inventory data, generate labels, locate stock locations and enter inventory amounts for incoming stock.
• Type & spell accurately to enter detailed inventory information and verify accuracy.
• Ability to understand a variety of written instructions and interpret unique directives for specific customers and situations.
• Must be able to count and verify accuracy of large quantity orders.
• Must be able to multi task daily
• Must be able to safely handle customer orders without causing injury or damage.
• May be required to use moveable stairs to reach high storage locations.
