Job summary

Milsco is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate at our Redgranite facility to handle inbound/outbound materials, verification, packing, and coordination with shippers. You will enter inventory data, perform cycle counts, and work with multiple departments to resolve issues.

Ideal candidates have high school diploma and 1–3 years in shipping/receiving, with strong communication and detail orientation to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming raw materials, components, and supplies; verify accuracy against records and inspect condition.
• Ensure orders are accurately packed and ready for shipment on schedule.
• Coordinate with shipping and freight companies to schedule pickups and confirm deliveries.
• Enter and manage inventory of incoming/outgoing materials using company software.
• Perform periodic cycle counts and investigate any inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales, Accounting and other departments to address issues and shortages.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Ensure orders are accurately packed and ready for shipment at the scheduled date and time.


• Coordinate with shipping and freight companies to schedule pickups and confirm deliveries.


• Utilize company software to enter and manage inventory of incoming and outgoing materials, supplies, and products.


• Perform periodic cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and update inventory records as needed.


• Work with Manufacturing, Sales, Accounting, and other departments to address issues, shortages, and complaints.


• Perform other duties and tasks as needed.
